SCARLETT ROUGE
In Scarlett Rouge process, Art is about the growth of our collective human psyche. At its best, it aspires to help us through the different stages of life, reminding us that we are not alone in the endeavour to grow. Reminding us, that though we might experience them at different times, we all exposed to the same mystifying feelings. Whether it is about feeling embraced through our moments of sadness, or celebrating a heart that beats with joy. In a sphere that has no roof nor bottom, because it exist without physical boundaries, Art can guide us to descend into and appreciate the darkness, and usher us back towards the awakening of light that shines at the end of the tunnel.
From the sun arises all beings
The sun sustains them all
Into the sun they all vanish
What the sun is
That I am
Scarlett Rouge’s artworks offer a captivating exploration of the profound mysteries of existence, inviting us to contemplate the infinite depths of the cosmos and the universe’s capacity for self-reflection. Her artwork also exposes the damaging impact of human activities on our planet, particularly the looming threat of global warming.
Through her art, the artist compels us to reflect on our place in the natural world, the implications of our actions and the urgent need to protect and preserve the delicate equilibrium that sustains us all.
Scarlett Rouge, our guest artist of this year, created “The Last Supper,” an entirely original and never-before-seen large-scale painting. The artwork challenges modern religious iconography by depicting Jesus as the burning sun and the twelve disciples as the planets that make up our universe. The universe embodies consciousness, and human beings can be seen as the universe observing itself.Through this striking imagery, the artist seeks to highlight humanity’s constant desire for control over the planet and the resulting abuse that is leading to global warming.
